What a grand, wonderful animal he is! He presently weighs in at about 90 pounds and was born with a heart as warm and gentle as nature could provide. Presently, Dylan's heart harbors heartworms, and his expensive treatment is being taken care of immediately by DRT. The veterinarian has recommended that he stay as quiet as is reasonably possible until the treatment is finished, but Dylan loves to play Frisbee and looks forward to the time when his winged feet will carry him across the smooth cut grass and the wind will whistle in his ears.

Dylan's first human Mom secreted him in her apartment and came home to him every day and they loved one another as a dog and a human will bond. During this time Dylan contracted heart worms; however they may not have been detected and were not treated.  Dylans presence at the apartment was discovered (it's hard to hide a ninety-plus pound Doberman so that no one will notice). Rules were rules and even though rules often break peoples hearts they had to be obeyed, so Dylan came to a rescue agency that tried to make room for him outside. There was no indoor space available. Because of the need for room and for proper quarters that Dylan needed, DRT agreed to give him a place to live at Elijah's House while he was being treated and offered for adoption.

Dylan feels he should be in the company of humans every moment of the day. He blossoms in the company of humans and while quiet and sedate, enjoys the reassurance that comes with being in the company of someone who loves him. He gets along with other dogs and enjoys their company on the field of play. He seems very much self assured and has not character that he feels the need to defend. In short, he is a grand physical specimen and a grand representative of the Doberman breed.

Dylan needs a home and he brings with him so many qualities that will make him a wonderful part of the family. These opportunities are not ordinary. Dylan could well be a chance in a lifetime. You can only know if you come and visit.

Should you be searching for a beautiful Doberman who will fit affably into your home and bring with him the joy of companionship, you truly need to consider this winner.  He is a joy to behold and a joy to know.  He needs what all Dobermans need, an attentive family that will provide a secure home.  If you come to see Dylan, you will find it very hard to leave without him.  He's that sensational!
